University of Utah Center for Public Affairs and Administration records 1965-1985

The Center for Public Affairs and Administration began in the 1950's as two separate University entities, the Institute of Government and the Bureau of Community Development. These two were merged in 1980 to form the Center for Public Affairs and Administration which changed its name in 1990 to the Center for Public Policy and Administration. The Center was "responsible for education, training, technical assistance and research related to government, community organization, and public policy issues." This collection contains meeting minutes, agendas, public meeting summaries, applications, reports, and correspondence.
